Gary of Conway, Drew County Sheriff Mark Gober of Monticello, District Court Judge Butch Hale of Sherwood, Mr. Doug Smith, Governors Liaison to Law Enforcement and City and County Governments, and Circuit Court Judge Robert Wyatt, Jr. of Pine Bluff, are appointed to the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Security and Emergency Preparedness for three-year terms to expire on September 30, 2018. We thank all of them for their willingness to serve on this important committee. We designate Judge Gordon McCain, a current member of the committee, to succeed Judge Hamilton Singleton as chair. We thank Judge Singleton, whose term has expired, for his service and Judge McCain for undertaking these duties. The court expresses its gratitude to the other outgoing members, Mayor Frank Fogleman, Judge Kathleen Bell, Judge Chaney Taylor, Chief Eddie Davis, and Ms. Pat Hannah, for their years of valuable service to this committee.
